Venerable Saddhamgama Seelalankara entered the order of Bhikkus under the patronage of Venerable Dankande Bodhiwansa in 1998 in Sri Lanka. He earned a Bachelor of Arts special degree on buddhist philosophy from the University of Sri Jayawardenapura in 2013.
Venerable Seelalankara has been on a buddhist mission in Yokohama, Japan since 2016 and has been a resident of SIBC since 2017.
