Recurring Expenses in SIBC

At the annual general meeting of SIBC on June 24th 2018, devotees who attended the meeting discussed and thought of adopting a more structured fund raising program and methodology for the benefit of the temple and it’s devotees. This was done at the request and guidance of Venerable Polwatte Paggnananda. Currently fixed expenses of the temple are running at about $2,200 per month. These expenses are listed below.

Pledging a Donation

We request all well wishes and devotees of the temple to contribute to bearing part of the temple expenses by pledging a donation and enjoy the happiness of being with Dhamma. Our plan is to obtain monthly donations going up to $2,500, accommodating ~$300 for unexpected expenses.

Transparency

The temple income and expenses are published to the temple members via a Google drive. The published documents include the bills for expenses and the account statement of the expenses account.

All of your contributions are tax exempted and a certificate will be issued during January of every year.
