The Sri Lankan Sinhala and Tamil new year celebrations will be held in the SIBC premises on Saturday 20th April, from 10.30AM onwards.

Agenda for the day

• 10-10.30AM - Arrival and networking
• 10.45AM - Oil Anointing Ceremony (හිස තෙල් ගෑම)
• 11.00AM - Buddha pooja
• 11.30AM - Offering Dana to monks
• 12.30PM - Worshipping the parents (බුලත් දී දෙමවුපියන් වැදීම )
• 1.00PM - Community Lunch
• 1.30PM - Games
