Poson - 2019
This is a past event. This event took place on June 15, 2019
To mark the Poson celebrations, an Eight precepts (Ata-sil) program is planned for both children and adults on Saturday, 15th June at the Sarana International Buddhist Center premises, starting at 8.45AM.
This sil program is aligned with the conclusion of the academic year of Dhamma school and designed with children in mind. The program is offered in English and simple Sinhala so that children would be able to follow and be engaged. Adults are welcome to be present and take part in the program along with children.
Participants of the Ata-sil program should wear white in accordance with the Buddhist tradition. White traditional sarong and short for Boys and Lama-sari for girls is preferred and encouraged.
