Blessings for the New Year - 2020

The New Year 2020 is upon us. While being thankful for the past year, it’s time to look forward to a new year and new beginnings. SIBC is conducting a Seth Pirith chanting and a Bodhi pooja session to offer blessings for the New year. The ceremony will be held on Wednesday, 1st of January 2020, starting at 4.30PM at the SIBC temple premises in Tukwila. We plan to conclude the events by 7.00PM.

Following is the program

• 4.30 PM : Arrival
• 4.45 PM : Start of the Bodhi pooja.
• 6.00 PM : Seth Pirith.
• 6.45 PM : Community dinner.

The community dinner is intended to be a traditional Sri Lankan pot luck comprising of Kiribath (Milk rice) and other snacks.
