Poson Religious Event - 2021

Poson poya is the most important full moon day for Sri Lankan Buddhists. The day marks the introduction of buddhism to Sri Lanka by Arhat Mahinda thero - the son of emperor Ashoka, in the third century BC. Buddhism has been followed ever since in Sri Lanka.

A special spiritual program has been organized at the Sarana International Buddhist Center on Saturday June 26th 2021 at 8.30AM. This event includes Buddha pooja, meditation, a Dhamma sermon and dana to maha Sangha.
