Venerable Pagnananda Birthday Blesssings - 2023

Venerable Polwatte Pagnananda, the chief incumbent of SIBC Tukwila and the Chief Sangha Nayaka for Southern United States. celebrates his 70th birthday on January 26th 2023. In recognition of his dhamma service across the world during the past 50+ years, we want to invoke blessings for good health and many more years of service.
Blessings and ceremony will be held on Saturday, January 28th 2023 from 10:00AM at the SIBC premises in Tukwila
On conclusion of the Buddha pooja and Dana, children of Dhamma school as well as devotees and friends of SIBC will ceremoniously commemorate Ven. Pagnananda and recount his years of service to the community.

The program is as follows
- 9:45AM - arrival and networking
- 10:00AM - Observance of Pansil and commencement
- 11:00AM - Buddha pooja
- 11:30AM - Cutting of birthday cake and offering Dana to monks
- 12:00 - Community potluck lunch
- 1:00PM - Felicitation ceremony commences
- 2:30PM - Close of ceremony and offering of tea and refreshments
