Poson Celebration - 2024
This is a past event. This event took place on June 16, 2024
Poson Poya is one of the most significant Poya days for Sri Lankan Buddhists. This sacred day commemorates the arrival of Buddhism in Sri Lanka in the 3rd century BCE. In honor of this momentous event, Sarana International Buddhist Center is organizing a special Seela program on June 16th.
We have planned two distinct programs: one tailored specifically for children, featuring a shorter Sil observance period and simplified Dhamma sermons, and another for adults, adhering to traditional practices and timings.
