Vesak Celebration - 2024

This is a past event. This event took place on May 18, 2024

The Vesak celebrations for the year 2024 will be held at the Sarana International Buddhist Center premises on Saturday May 18th 2024. We plan to do the Sil program in the morning and the Vesak festivities in the evening.

Following is the program for the day

Morning Program : 7:30am to 4:00pm

• Vesak Sil Program ( අට සිල් සමාදන් වීම ) from 7.30am to 4:00pm.

Evening Program : 4:00 pm onwards

• Dan sal - මල් දන්සැල and සිසිල් පැන් දන්සැල
• Fundraising event
• Bodhi pooja
• Bakthi Gee program
• Hanging lanterns

• Lighting of candles

• 7:30pm - Community Dinner.
• 10:00pm - Conclusion of events.
