Katina Cheewara Pooja (Robe Donation Ceremony) - 2024
Katina event is the culmination of Vassana programs - during Katina, devotees present the Katina Cheewara to a resident monk as a gesture of their gratitude. We are conducting the Katina event with a pirith chanting and a Katina Dana.
Katina is also the main fund-raising event for SIBC. We want to channel our efforts this year to construct the outer wall of temple. If you have not donated already, you can help by committing to donate a cheewara at the Katina event. Please sign-up for a donation using this form.
