Blessings for the New Year - 2025
The New Year 2025 is upon us. While being thankful for the past year, it’s time to look forward to a new year and new beginnings.
SIBC is conducting a seth pirith chanting and a bodhi pooja session to offer blessings for the new year. The ceremony will be held on Wednesday, 1st of January 2025, starting at 10:30 AM at the SIBC temple premises in Tukwila. We plan to conclude the events by 2:00 PM.
Following is the program
- 10.30 AM: Arrial
- 11.00 AM: Buddha pooja and offering Dana for mahasanga
- 12.30 AM: Seth Pirith
- 1.00 PM: Community Lunch
The community lunch is intended to be a traditional Sri Lankan pot luck comprising of Kiribath (Milk rice) and other snacks. Please signup for food contributions below.
